Privacy Policy

Spectra is a product of AudiPrism. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address (used for authentication and account communications)
• A hashed password (managed securely by our authentication provider)

When you use Spectra, we automatically collect:

• Session count (how many times you have opened the app)
• Subscription status (free or Pro)

We do not collect, store, or transmit any audio data. All audio processing happens locally in your browser and never leaves your device.

Payment Processing

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe to Spectra Pro, Stripe collects your payment details directly. We never see, handle, or store your credit card number. We only receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe to manage your account.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To manage your subscription and provide access to Pro features
• To send transactional emails (password resets, account confirmations)
• To improve the product based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns

Third-Party Services

Spectra relies on the following third-party services:

• Supabase for authentication and database hosting
• Stripe for payment processing
• Vercel for application hosting
• Google Fonts for typography

Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Cookies and Local Storage

Spectra uses browser local storage to maintain your login session and app preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. The app functions as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and may cache assets locally for offline performance.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days. Stripe may retain transaction records independently per their own data retention policy.

Your Rights

You can:

• Access or update your account information at any time through the Account page
• Cancel your subscription through the billing portal
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us

Children's Privacy

Spectra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Spectra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
